Bio Jess Baker began her career as a university instructor in Fine Arts after earning her MFA with honors from Tufts, then pivoted to professional baking through various pop-ups. She refined her skills while staging at Butter Cake Shoppe in Los Angeles and soon after launched her own pastry business, which she has been running full-time since 2020. Her work is featured at local businesses in Malibu, Ventura, and Ojai, blending her artistic background with seasonal ingredients and balanced flavors to create classic desserts with a contemporary California flair.
